We are Earth People(r) Farms - a family owned and operated micro farm on St. Helena Island, SC. We farm in the tradition of our beloved African, Gullah/Geechee ancestors. Like them, we know that food grown on healthy land with healthy farming practices is the best kind of food. We are honored to be stewards of this small portion of our Mother Earth, caring for its health to support yours.
Our family grew up on the same land where Earth People Farms is located - the Frogmore community of St. Helena Island, heart of the Gullah/Geechee Culture in the Lowcountry. We are proud to grow the food that feeds our families and yours. Thank you for supporting this tradition!
We are a year-round specialty crop farm, known for the sweetness of our baby greens, rainbow beets, Valencia oranges, and sugar cane, and the beauty of our 'Mae Flowers' bouquets. We also cultivate traditional herbs such as mullein and life-everlasting. Click Shop EP Farms for details!
Our vegetables, herbs and fruit are hand cultivated, and never treated with chemical pesticides or harmful fertilizers.
Our registered trademark is in honor of our parents (Bertha Mae & Al) who established the EP way of life in the late 1970s.
